Previously, Aycinena served as a Contributing Editor authoring EDA Weekly, in Play in EDA and EDA Nation, as Managing Editor of Visual Studio Magazine, as Copy Editor of Chip Design Magazine, and as Editor of ISD Magazine. Additionally, in a recent epoch she posted the odd blog here and there on EDADesignLine.com and EDACafe.com (Thursday's Child).

Aycinena has degrees in Biophysics and Electrical Engineering from UCB and SFSU, respectively, and studied control systems at Stanford while working at NASA. She roots for Cal at the Big Game.
