Here's some additional info on the program:

The Executives Panel
"High Demanding Communication Solutions"

Chaired by Jean-Louis Brelet, ADP-Europe Xilinx -- Consumers want to have access to information and entertainment anytime and anywhere. This has lead to the explosion of feature-rich mobile phones and 'smartphones' integrating high-end multimedia and computing functions. Handset manufacturers and the semiconductor industry need to face up to the evolution of applications such as TV on mobile phones, Internet access, etc. In this panel, the speakers will present the technical challenges related to these applications.

Panelists include:
Guillaume D'Eyssautier, President & CEO PicoChip
Jean-Paul Deschamps, CEO 3ROAM
Joachim Kunkel, VP Engineering IP Synopsys
Rick Dumont, Product Manager Embedded Wireless IP Philips

The European Panel
"The future of NanoElectronics in Europe"

In this panel, representatives of key players in NanoElectronics (large companies, start-ups and supporting organisations) will share their vision of the future, with a focus upon potential cooperation at the European level.

The Start-up Panel

Panelists will discuss innovative products currently being developed and commercialised. SAME 2005 will also feature carefully selected high-tech start-ups developing new technologies and applications for the Microelectronics industry.
