Munich is Not Only
In March, DATE 05 will be in Munich. Many of you will attend, and of course, for dinner you can always go to the "BIG" & "KOLOSAL" Beer Halls, such as the "Hofbräuhaus", Spatenhaus, Franziskaner or "Haxnbauer" where you can have a big, big typical German meal.Or you can go to the most sophisticated, top restaurants such as "Tantris", "Köningshoff" or "Schuhbeck’s". Also you can visit the tourist district of "Schwabing" or the alternative district of "Haidhausen", where you can find all the restaurants to your taste. But then, the best way is to ask your hotel concierge.Today’s "Gourmet Corner" will be short – only two restaurants, but interesting: The first Restaurant has been a traditional Italian landmark in Munich since 1995 , "PEPPINO TRATTORIA". The owner, Peppino, is a native from Napoli and a music lover. After 11:00 PM, you can ask for any requests from your favorite opera, jazz, chanson, rock or Sinatra; he will be glad to please you, (his collection is extensive). So if you are in a group, your evening can go on till 2:00 or 3:00 AM, with the help of a good bottle of Italian wine or "grappa".The restaurant team: Reno, Gianni or Luccio, will treat you as a friend; it's the same, whether you only take a "Pasta" dish or a "Full Dinner", so after a hard day at DATE if only you like to relax and have just a "Pasta" & wine, this is the place to visit. The best way to start your meal is to ask for the "Menu of the Day".
